Both Top and Front loading washing machines come with an inlet-filter which is placed between the hose and water inlet section to prevent dust and minerals present in water from entering into the washing machine. With daily use, these minerals and tiny particles block the filter and hampers the water flow which will adversely affect the performance. Samsung recommends cleaning the inlet filter once every two weeks.
